Fundraising Update

We are excited to announce that we have raised 45% of our outgoing expenses!  Thank you to all of you for partnering with us in this area!  Outgoing expenses cover the cost of our moving and settling in South Africa.  People who make special contributions fund our outgoing expenses.

Our ongoing support levels are now in need of attention, as they are at 16%. Ongoing support covers our monthly expenses (and other things like health insurance) which will enable us to stay and minister in South Africa.  We are looking for individuals and churches to commit to give on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis in order to cover our ongoing support.  Prior to leaving for South Africa in July, we need to be fully funded!

We have started contacting people personally to ask them to partner with us, so please be in prayer about this!

Here are ways to pledge:

  • Email us to tell us that you want to make a monthly, quarterly or annual pledge; OR
  • Complete this online pledge form, which comes directly to us.

Then, you can send in your support:

  • Write a check: drop it in the offering plate (designate Parada), or mail it regularly to Park Street Church; OR
  • Give online: through Park Street’s online giving page.

Please contact us if you would like to see our budget, or if you have any questions.

Our website www.paradas.org has more detailed information.

 How Much to Give?

Here is an example of a break-down that will enable us to meet our goal:

2 partners at $500/month

5 partners at $100/month

20 partners at $75/month

18 partners at $50/month

40 partners at $25/month

That is 85 new partners.

 Prayer Requests

Please pray for us in our preparations: that the Holy Spirit will guide our steps, that our eyes will always be on God, and that our ears will be sensitive to His voice. Pray that the necessary finances are released to enable our timely departure. Please pray that our upcoming small group and church presentations will honor God.
